Published by de Sede Switzerland during the 1970s, the DS-44 model illustrates the approach developed by the Swiss publisher around lounge comfort and thick leather craftsmanship. This 3-seater version in cognac buffalo leather features more generous proportions while maintaining the low, enveloping lines characteristic of the brand’s vintage productions.

The DS-44 is notably distinguished by its extendable seating system allowing the seat depth to be increased to approximately 70 cm by simply sliding the sofa forward. This design enhances the particularly soft and informal comfort of the model while accentuating its modular character.
