The ensemble covers a vast territory including the Himalayas, Tibet, Nepal, India, as well as Southeast Asia—notably Burma and Thailand—and reflects a particularly exacting eye for iconographic quality, stylistic coherence, and the works’ presence.

A significant part of this selection consists of ancient Buddhist sculptures, alongside deities and ritual objects from the religious traditions of the Himalayas and ancient Asia.
