Scandinavian teak sideboard: softened lines and a tactile approach

This small storage unit features beautiful finishes. Its 70s Scandinavian character is affirmed by flush handles integrated into the frame, as well as by the absence of sharp edges, with corner junctions softened by quarter-round moldings.

The treatment of the edges and the integrated handles create a tactile relationship that extends the visual perception: the piece is as soft to the touch as it is to the eye.

The two interior shelves, adjustable and removable, offer great flexibility of use. The back is covered with a veneer featuring contrasting grain, which subtly animates the furniture’s structure and reveals an aesthetic intention, despite an apparent simplicity.
