Wooden table lamp – Temde Leuchten, 50s edition. Tapered walnut base with a solid brass flexible arm, in a modernist spirit close to mid-20th-century Scandinavian design.
Rare version with a translucent iridescent Rhodoid shade, decorated with free-form geometric patterns, diffusing a soft and subtly nuanced light.
Perfect state of conservation.

Temde Leuchten and Scandinavian-inspired modernist lighting

Founded in Switzerland and also active in Germany, Temde Leuchten was part of the post-war development of European modernist lighting. The company is known for its precise craftsmanship, combining wood, metal, and synthetic elements in functional, balanced compositions.
