This 1970s bedside table or side table designed by Guy Lefebvre for Maison Jansen features a single drawer whose front is centered with an elegant solid brass square-section loop, while a brass band highlights the transition to the base. The body is made of solid wood covered with a surface that imitates rattan weaving; its black lacquer-saturated texture naturally enhances the glossy reflections of the whole.

The drawer slides perfectly and smoothly thanks to its sturdy internal steel runners. This small occasional piece will naturally blend into the hushed atmosphere of a refined living room or the discreet yet pronounced charm of a bedroom, in a Hollywood Glam spirit typical of the 1970s.
