Alfred Hendrickx coffee table model 602 – Belform, 1960s
This square teak and thick glass coffee table, designed by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, bears the reference 602 in the original catalog of the Belgian publisher. Its geometric base is distinguished by an assembly of crossed stretchers, fully visible through the 2 cm thick transparent top.
The transparency of the glass highlights the lines of the wood and provides a sense of lightness despite the generous proportions of this 1960s coffee table. With its 90 × 90 cm top, it offers a comfortable surface for books and decorative objects, while maintaining a beautiful visual openness in the living room.
The base has been oil-restored in our restoration workshop. The top features a very small chip under one corner, not sharp and only visible from directly above. This detail is photographed. The table is accompanied by a reproduction of the Belform documentation precisely illustrating model 602.
