Amoghasiddhi Buddha, Tibet.

  • In Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, Amoghasiddhi is one of the five Wisdom Buddhas, guardian of the North, whose name means “He whose achievement will not be in vain”.
  • His right hand is raised in abhaya mudra, the absence of fear and the dispelling of dread, a symbol of fearlessness in the face of illusions or, in particular, the transcendence of jealousy.
