Owl in cut brass sheets, Brutalist style often attributed to Curtis Jeré, 1970s.

Curtis Jeré is the collective pseudonym of Jerry Fels and Curtis (Kurt) Freiler. Fels mainly led the design, Freiler the production. The pieces were made in their company Artisan House, founded in California in the early 1960s. Artisan House workers cut, hammered, welded, and patinated brass, copper, and other metals under their direction.
