An iconic 1970s modular wall shelving unit

Designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset, this modular wall shelving unit is one of the most representative creations of French designer furniture from the 1970s. Its anodized aluminum structure holds various white laminate modules that can be freely arranged to create a bookcase, a storage unit, or a wall composition perfectly suited to the available space.

This wall shelving unit appeals with the purity of its lines and the balance between functionality and visual lightness. The vertical uprights seem to suspend the cabinets, drawers, and shelves, while the combination of aluminum and laminate perfectly reflects the aesthetic and technical explorations of 1970s design. This modular system makes it easy to change the layout as needs evolve, while maintaining strong architectural coherence.

This set offers a wide variety of modules: two sideboard cabinets, another as a chest of drawers, and two narrower cabinets, one of which is a bar with mirrors and automatic lighting.
