Reform Model Table – Friso Kramer. It follows the same design principles as the Revolt chair by the same designer.
Compared to other tables of the period, the Reform table’s proportions are striking, and the combination of its slender top and base offer a contrasting appearance that asserts its airy lines.
Its sturdy construction in bent steel sections is suited to its function, notably with two steel reinforcement tubes supporting the top. The top is finished in anthracite/black linoleum, edged with anodized aluminum; the legs end with an integrated plastic cap to prevent marks on more delicate floors. The grey color is original; it was chosen to create a calm atmosphere and to make this type of furniture easier to integrate into a variety of settings, both professional and domestic. Friso Kramer’s Reform table is therefore a timeless piece, in both form and color.
Stamped into the steel with the publisher’s mark “De Cirkel – Ahrend”
Dimensions: W 120 cm x D 70 cm x H 75 cm.
Marks of normal wear and very slight oxidation on the feet (see photos).
No restoration such as welding or other deformations.
