The style of Louis van Teeffelen coffee tables
The coffee tables by Louis van Teeffelen, during the 50s and 60s, are recognized by a design that is both refined and warm. Whether rectangular or organically shaped, they share a common aesthetic vocabulary close to the Mid-Century Scandinavian style: fluid lines, softened angles, elegant bases, and an emphasis on teak. The models produced by Wébé demonstrate a constant search for balance between functionality and refinement.
The few models presented below illustrate this true designer identity. Despite their differences in dimensions or design, they reveal an immediately recognizable family resemblance, which today makes Louis van Teeffelen coffee tables highly sought-after pieces by Scandinavian design furniture enthusiasts. Each of these small designer coffee tables has been carefully restored by our restorer.
