Solid Acacia Plant Stand – Art Deco

Plant stand or plant holder Art Deco in acacia wood, adorned with two circular solid wood shelves. Work from the 1930s.

A sturdy piece of furniture that will effortlessly support a marble or bronze sculpture.

• Total height 90.5 cm x Width at base 62 cm
• Shelf diameter 33 cm and 19 cm
• H between the two shelves 55 cm.
• The upper shelf shows a slight deformation due to age, with no impact on stability.
• Normal wear marks at the ends of one or two legs, see photos.

Restoration of an Art Deco Solid Acacia Plant Stand

This solid acacia plant stand underwent a complete restoration, carried out with respect for its original appearance and to restore the natural shade of its wood.

Condition upon acquisition:
Signs of use, tarnished surface and soiled wood.

Step 1:
Disassembly, deep cleaning and sanding of surfaces to restore the wood material.

Step 2:
Cleaning and refining of surfaces after sanding, then application of a suitable oil.

Step 3:
Drying time before reassembly.
