Small Omann Jun teak sideboard – 60s (D=30cm)

Small low sideboard in teak with two doors, Danish work from the 60s-70s edited by Omann Jun. The piece is divided into two compartments, each equipped with a removable shelf, height-adjustable in increments of about 5 cm. Its particularly small proportions make it a sought-after storage piece, notably due to its shallow depth of only 30 cm.

A small Danish sideboard with unusual proportions

Edited by Omann Jun in the 60s and 70s, this small low sideboard in teak features the clean, functional lines of Danish furniture from this period. Its particularly small dimensions, especially its depth of only 30 cm, make it a rare model that is particularly easy to integrate into an interior.

The front is defined by two doors without visible handles. They are opened via a slight recessed grip in their edge, a discreet detail that preserves the continuity of the facade and highlights the natural grain of the teak.

The interior is divided into two independent compartments. Each has a removable shelf, height-adjustable in increments of about 5 cm, allowing the storage space to be easily adapted to its use.

Use separately or as a long sideboard

Three identical units in terms of dimensions and finish are available. They differ only in the natural grain of their teak surfaces. They can be placed separately in different rooms or joined side-by-side to form a long low sideboard, while maintaining great flexibility in composition.

Their shallow depth allows them to be installed in an office, a bedroom, or a living room, including spaces where a traditional sideboard would be too bulky.

Resting directly on a plinth, these pieces also offer a height and stability that allow their top to be used as occasional seating. With a few cushions, one or more units can thus form a low bench while retaining their storage function.
