Original edition late 60s – early 70s by Frans and Herman Defour.
The piece has been renovated by our restorer: full cleaning and surface treatment with black varnish.

A fully sanitized brutalist sideboard with its restored black finish

Before being offered for sale, this sideboard underwent a complete restoration in our restoration workshop. Both the interior and exterior have been carefully cleaned to restore its original 1960s freshness.

Its black finish, typical of brutalist furniture of that era, has also been refinished. After surface preparation, a new black varnish was applied, reviving the depth of its hue while preserving the character of the piece. These interventions allow us to offer a vintage piece ready for many more years of use.

Deep cleaning with degreasing soap, repeated several times.

After sanding, several coats of black varnish are applied to provide long-lasting protection for the sideboard while revealing the depth of its textures.
