Scandinavian teak sideboard: softened lines and asymmetrical organization

This storage unit features beautiful finishes. Its Scandinavian character is emphasized by flush handles integrated into the frame, as well as the absence of sharp edges, with corner joints softened by quarter-round molding.

The front is organized around six drawers on the left, offering precise and accessible storage, while the door on the right conceals a larger space. This asymmetrical composition visually structures the piece while catering to different uses.

The treatment of the edges and the integration of the handles create a tactile relationship that extends the visual perception: the piece is as soft to the touch as it is to the eye.

The adjustable and removable interior elements offer great flexibility of use. The back is lined with a contrasting grain veneer, which discreetly enlivens the structure and reveals an aesthetic intent despite its apparent simplicity.
