A modernist mid-size desk with a balanced, legible composition and a functional logic. Circa 1955.
Its shelf-like shape and the distribution of open storage spaces call for a mid-room setting, where the unit asserts its discreet elegance.
This desk has been meticulously restored by our restorer, with the top thoroughly polished to near-new condition.
A very similar example, sold in 2022, was attributed to Louis Paolozzi on the basis of formal characteristics and stylistic comparisons.

The black laminate top shows occasional fine scratches and marks of normal wear, and a small restoration mark at the height of the first drawer (see photos).
