  • The Dayak, the indigenous peoples of Borneo in Indonesia and Malaysia, have a rich tradition of shamanism. Their shamans, often called “belian” or “dukun”, play a crucial role in healing, protection rituals and communication with nature spirits. Shamanism is an integral part of their spiritual culture and their connection with their environment.

Among the Dayaks, its name cannot be pronounced without invoking its power.
