Yngve Ekström (June 16, 1913 – March 13, 1988) was a Swedish furniture designer and architect, and one of the pioneers of the Scandinavian modernist movement. He is best known for the “Lamino” armchair he designed in 1956, which has been in production ever since.
He co-founded the furniture manufacturer ESE-möbler, better known as Swedese . He worked there for over 40 years, until 1988.
