  • This image of the “Monday” Buddha is in gilded copper alloy, his hands depicted in abhaya mudra (Absence of fear), He stands on a 4-level octagonal lotiform pedestal.
  • Thailand (Siam), Rattanakosin period (1782-1932). This piece dates from the early 20th century.
  • It is still sealed with its export license from Thailand’s Department of Fine Arts.
