• Pair of modernist armchairs, work from the 1950s, completely refurbished by our restorer and upholstered in Kvadratt Hallingdal 65 woollen cloth.

This pair of modernist armchairs dates from the 1950s and features a clean-lined wooden frame, with a slightly sloping base that visually lightens the whole. The side uprights naturally extend the armrests, creating a simple, coherent geometry typical of furniture from the 1950s-60s. The generously upholstered seat and back provide firm, stable comfort, while the green fabric adds a graphic, contemporary touch to the warm contrast of the wood.

The work on the frame highlights the finesse of the sections: slender base, minimalist frame, legible joints and balanced proportions. The inclination of the backrest, combined with the depth of the seat, guarantees a comfortable posture without breaking the sobriety of the design.
