Bauhaus lounge chair Erich Diekmann

• Rare retractable lounge chair, in bamboo and rattan, iron rack, brass assemblies.
• Designed by Erich Diekmann (1896-1944), circa 1925/1930, who, along with Marcel Breuer, is considered the most important Bauhaus furniture designer in Weimar and Dessau.
• This chair has been thoroughly cleaned, forgotten in an attic, it is in a remarkable state of preservation.
• H 88 CM X D MAX 173 CM X W 66 CM.
• P ‘folded’ 64 CM.
• H sitting 38 CM.
• Only one broken strand of 1 cm on the top of the back, negligible (see photo).
