Reform industrial table – Friso Kramer for De Cirkel publisher (Ahrend, Netherlands). It follows the same design principles as the Revolt chair.
Compared to other tables of the period, the Reform table’s proportions are striking, and the combination of its slender top and base offer a contrasting appearance that asserts its airy lines.
Its robust construction in bent profiles is adapted to its function, notably featuring two steel reinforcement tubes supporting the top. The top is covered with anthracite/black linoleum edged with anodized aluminum trim, the legs end with integrated plastic caps to prevent marks on more delicate floors. The gray color is original, adopted to bring a sense of tranquility but also to more easily incorporate this type of furniture into various environments, professional and domestic. The Reform industrial table is therefore a timeless piece both in form and color.
Stamped into the steel with the publisher’s mark “De Cirkel Ahrend.” Original 1960s edition.
Small marks of normal wear on top and base (see photos).
No deformations or restorations such as welding, etc.
