Kvadrat Hallingdal 65 is a faux-plain fabric that provides visual subtlety and depth through its differentiated warp and weft shades. It combines wool and viscose, two complementary fibers: wool ensures great strength, while viscose lends brightness and depth to color nuances. Both materials are dyed before spinning, revealing the full richness of the fabric’s texture.
Hallingdal, the first textile created by Kvadrat, has become the archetypal wool fabric. Conceived in 1965 by designer Nanna Ditzel, this upholstery fabric, renowned for its exceptional strength, is now available in a modernized version: **Hallingdal 65**, offering a palette of contemporary colors.
Made from wool and viscose, Hallingdal 65 combines the strength and suppleness of wool with the brilliance and chromatic depth of viscose. Both fibers are dyed before spinning, revealing the full richness and texture of this emblematic fabric.
Kvadrat Hallingdal 65 fabric is displayed in large slopes in the store.
