  • Covered bronze vase, Fanghu, Han dynasty (206 BC/AD 220).
  • The faceted pear-shaped body, raised on a square base, is adorned on each side with a Taotie mythical mask handle from which a loose ring hangs. The square lid is topped by four flat lugs.
  • Beautiful verdigris/malachite patina, still showing the bronze’s golden-brown aspect.
