- Friso Kramer, son of the architect Piet Kramer, is an emblematic figure of the Amsterdam school as is Wim Rietveld (son of Gerrit Rietveld) with whom he collaborated for a long time at the “Cercle” (De Cirkel).
- His Revolt & Result chairs were mainly produced for communities.
- Many of his street lights are still in the Netherlands.
